  • Remove broken key(s) using the flat end of spudger.
  • When working with electronics, it’s important to choose a tool that’s ESD-safe to avoid accidental damage to the device. The regular spudger and tweezer should be used whenever possible.
  • When reinstalling the key, no spudger is needed. Just pop it into place with fingers.

Step 2

  • Using the flat end of the spudger, very carefully lift up the corners of the cradle.
  • With the help of tweezers (needle nose works best), pull the hooks of the cradle out.
  • For re-installation of the plastic piece use tweezers to put it back in place and pop the bottom half in before the top.
