- Using a plastic opening tool, separate the back cover from the main device.
- Open each side continuously to ensure all sides have been separated.

- Turn the tablet over so the battery is facing up.

- Carefully pull back the black tape covering the battery lead connector.
- Disconnect connection with the board by pulling up on the wire with the plastic opening tool.

- Using a plastic card or opening pick, separate the battery from the rest of the device.
- Do not use a metal spudger like seen in the example photos. Use a plastic card to avoid bending or rupturing the battery.
