- Remove the black piece of tape that is holding the red, yellow, and white wires in place.

- Once the tape has been removed, gently pinch the wires and remove them from the socket. They should come out easily.

- Carefully work a plastic spudger underneath the battery and pry it free.
- Use an iOpener or carefully apply heat with a heat gun to soften the adhesive under the battery.
- Be careful not to bend or puncture the battery.
