  • Identify if power cord to motherboard is or was damaged. In my case it was damaged because previous repair person accidentally screw the tray back through the power cord as the power cord was a little loose and too close to the screw as shown in the picture.

              Purchase Power Cable
  • Make sure the cable is composed of 3 red cables and 3 black cables, and the inlet is similar to the one in your laptop.
  • Look online and purchase - DC Power Jack Harness Cable Socket Plug Charging Port Replacement for Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53-55G9 - Acer C5PRH DC301010K00 DC IN Cable Power Jack Connector Charging Port.

Make sure the cable is composed of 3 red cables and 3 black cables, and the inlet is similar to the one in your laptop.

Look online and purchase - DC Power Jack Harness Cable Socket Plug Charging Port Replacement for Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53-55G9 - Acer C5PRH DC301010K00 DC IN Cable Power Jack Connector Charging Port.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
