NOTE: Just FYI, once you have added another ram module to this laptop, and you turn it on, the screen may stay blank for up to a minute while the BIOS registers the new memory. Don’t panic if your screen does not come on right away. Give the BIOS time to update the new memory.

When I updated the ram in my Acer Nitro 5, the screen did not come on right away, and I thought it was a non compatible ram module, but this was not the case, just had to be patient.

Can you take ram out of an aspire e15 and put in a nitro and have it work?

I have a nitro 5, but it does not have the ram thing on the bottom of it. does the change what it looks like inside?

This guide refers to the 53-generation Nitro 5 (AN515-53) but I believe you are referring to the 54-generation (AN515-54). While they do not look exactly the same under the cover, they are very similar and the hardware is close to the same place and the RAM is installed using the same process.

ok thank you so much.so instead of the small cover I just take the bottom panel off.
