Step 1

              Remove the metal protectors               
  • Loosen the three Allen key screws holding the metal corner protectors. Only remove the screws on the front of the amp.

              Remove the frontal angled metal strips               
  • Once the corner protectors have been removed, the angled metal strips that protect the edges of the front can be removed. Remove the side, top and bottom protections.

Step 3

              Remove the front control panel               
  • Loosen and remove the 8 screws that hold the front control panel for the microphone and guitar inputs, RCA connector, and volume control.

Step 4

              Remove the speaker               
  • Loosen and remove the four woofer retaining screws. Hold the speaker carefully to avoid damaging the membrane and to prevent it from falling to the ground once the screws have been removed. Move it to the left, taking note of the length of the cable connected to its pins so you do not jerk out the cable.

Step 5

              Remove and disconnect the battery               
  • Loosen and remove the 4 screws from the wooden panel that forms part of the compartment where the battery is fitted.
  • Remove the panel once the screws have been removed.
  • Move the battery outwards, to access the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals and then disconnect them. Once disconnected, completely remove the battery and replace it with the new one.
