Hard Drive
- Place laptop upside down with the hinge facing you, then remove the two 9.0 mm Phillips #0 screws located in the center of the rear panel.
- Remove the rear panel by using the iFixit opening tool to separate it from the back of the laptop.
- Be sure to use your Anti-Static wrist strap for this process. Hard drives are susceptible to static damage!

Remove the rear panel by using the iFixit opening tool to separate it from the back of the laptop.

- Use the iFixit opening tool to disconnect the battery cable.

- Use the T9 Torx bit to remove the screws on the hard drive cover.

Step 4
- Firmly pull on the plastic tab to remove connector from motherboard and remove the hard drive from it’s slot.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
