              CPU Cooler               
  • First begin by placing the laptop on a hard flat surface.
  • Remove the nine 3 mm screws that secure the back panel using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

  • Once the cover has been removed, locate the CPU Cooler to begin the replacement.

  • Remove the six 7 mm screws using a Phillips #1 and then use the pry tool to unplug the fan before removing the CPU Cooler.
  • Screws 1 through 4 are integrated into the cooler and will come all the way out.

  • Once all screws have been removed and the cooler has been unplugged, gently lift the cooler out of its compartment to install the new cooling fan.
