              Battery               
  • Flip the laptop over and slide the battery release latch to the right.

  • Remove battery.

              CMOS Battery               
  • Use a T2 screwdriver to remove the four 3 mm screws under the battery.

  • Use a plastic opening tool to remove the bottom cover.

Step 5

  • Locate the CMOS battery.

  • Unplug the battery cable and use a plastic opening tool to remove the CMOS battery.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
