  • Wipe the skis with a towel, removing dirt, excess wax, the base cleaner, and dust.

  • Spread wax across the base of the ski with an edge to edge motion. While doing this hold the iron perpendicular to the base and press the wax into the iron.
  • Be careful when handling the hot iron and the hot wax.

  • Melt the wax into the base using a tip to tail stroke with the iron.
