- Unplug the refrigerator to turn off all light bulbs and electricity running to them.
- Remember that unplugging the refrigerator will turn off the entire fridge and any food inside will start to become warmer.

- Try to have the door held open during the fix so it is not swinging back into position.

- Remove the guard to the lightbulbs by pushing away from the door to unhinge the guard.

- Remove the lightbulb by rotating clockwise to the door.
- Be careful of the temperature of the bulb depending on how recent the refrigerator was unplugged.
