Echo Dot will not connect to Internet

Your Echo Dot may not be connecting to the internet because it is experiencing an interference. Interferences can occur if the echo dot is too far from your Wi-Fi router so it should be placed within 30 feet. Your device may also face interference if it is too close to other electronic devices such a microwave.

If your device is still not connecting to Wi-Fi you may be experiencing a network issue. Check to see if your other devices are connected to the internet. If not unplug your Echo Dot and restart your router by pressing the reset button or unplugging the router then plug both your echo dot and router back in. Once the router has successfully rebooted your echo dot should connect.

If you have recently changed your Wi-Fi password, update the Wi-Fi settings for your Echo Dot in the Alexa app. Finally if your device is still having connection issues restart your Echo Dot
