              Preparing the rear glass for removal               
  • Insert the phone into the Laser Separator “Blue Light” to treat the rear glass with the laser in order to easily remove it later.

Step 2

              Removal of the rear glass cover               
  • To remove the real glass we will need to use a sharp blade.
  • After the laser treatment the rear glass will be very easy to remove, which is why we chose to use the laser separator. This makes the iPhone dissasembly considerably less difficult.
  • This is what the phone looks like after removing the rear panel.

Step 3

              Cleaning               
  • Before cleaning the black objects we will need to use a small spatula to clear out the broken glass along the edge of the panel.
  • After completing this step, use a clean cloth and isopropyl alcohol to clean the black objects.
  • Now the cleaning is done, we’re trying to keep the white adhesive. This is the key to restoring the original thickness of the iPhone.

Before cleaning the black objects we will need to use a small spatula to clear out the broken glass along the edge of the panel.

Step 4

              Adding new adhesive               
  • In this step, we will add fresh adhesive along the edges, and inside empty spaces.
  • The photo shows the rear panel after adding the adhesive.

Step 5

              Installing the rear glass               
  • Install the new glass, then use four screen vise clamps to apply pressure.
  • The replacement process is complete. This is the final result; this phone is looking as perfect as an original phone.
