Introduction
These parts protect the internal and electrical components of the speaker from the elements such as water and dirt. It also prevents internal damage or the loss of loose parts.
Before starting the replacement, make sure the speaker is turned off and is unplugged from the power cord!
What you need
Step 1
Bottom Cover
- The rubber cover of the speaker is glued down.
- Use precision tweezers to peel the rubber cover off of the bottom of the speaker.

Step 2
- Remove six 10 mm screws holding the plastic cover in place using a Phillips #000 screwdriver.
- Use your hand to pull the plastic cover off the bottom of the speaker.

Use your hand to pull the plastic cover off the bottom of the speaker.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
