What you need

Step 1

              Battery               
  • Remove the plastic cover over the batteries on both sides of the device.

  • Remove the batteries (may require a plastic opening tool or spudger to pop the batteries out).

              Button Panel               
  • Using the Philips Screwdriver, remove the top 2 screws.
  • The screws are very small (2.5mm), put them somewhere you won’t lose them.

  • Using the Philips screwdriver, remove the bottom 2 screws (2.5mm).

  • Remove the face.

              Motherboard               
  • Remove four surrounding T5 screws as shown

  • Remove all four purple bumpers. You may have to bend the metal surround out of the way.

  • Remove metal surround from the Jukebox. You may have to straighten out tabs that were bent during disassembly.

Step 9

  • Desolder the motherboard from the frame at the eight locations shown. You may need to use a desoldering pump.

Step 10

  • Desolder the remaining two points on the backside of the Jukebox.
  • The Motherboard should now be free from the frame and ready for repair or replacement.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
