Step 1

              Mother & Daughterboard               
  • Remove the ten 5 mm silver screws from the back panel.
  • Lift off the back panel.

  • Lift the black wire connecting to the audio card.
  • Lift the white wire connecting to audio card.

Lift the black wire connecting to the audio card.

Lift the white wire connecting to audio card.

Step 3

  • Remove the four 2.5 mm black screws that secure the battery.
  • Lift the battery out of the laptop.

Remove the four 2.5 mm black screws that secure the battery.

Lift the battery out of the laptop.

Step 4

  • Remove the black strips connecting to the display at the top.

Remove the black strips connecting to the display at the top.

  • Pry open the white gate and then remove the connection with the blue strip.

Pry open the white gate and then remove the connection with the blue strip.

Step 6

  • Pry open the black gate and then remove the connection with the blue strip.

Pry open the black gate and then remove the connection with the blue strip.

Step 7

  • Pry open the white gate and then remove the connection with the brown strip.

Pry open the white gate and then remove the connection with the brown strip.

Step 8

  • Remove two silver screws located in the middle of the motherboard that’s holding down the heat sink.
  • Remove the heatsink from the motherboard.

Step 9

  • Remove the eleven 2.5 mm screws that secure the motherboard.
  • Remove the four 1.3 mm screws from bottom of mother board/daughterboard.
  • Replace the motherboard/daughterboard.

Remove the eleven 2.5 mm screws that secure the motherboard.

Remove the four 1.3 mm screws from bottom of mother board/daughterboard.

Replace the motherboard/daughterboard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
