- Attach anti static wrist strap to your hand and clip to the laptop case.

- Unscrew and remove the four 5mm Phillips #0 screws from the cooling fan.

- Remove 4 pin connector from mother board.

- Slide cooling fan out from underneath the copper heat sink.
- The cooling fan will be clipped to the case, we suggest pulling it toward the front of the case. Using the spudger can be helpful to work the fan loose.

- One of the fans will have a connector that partially covers it. Pull the connector loose by flipping up the plastic clamps on both ends and follow steps 2-4.
