              Battery
  • Close the device and lay it upside down.
  • Unplug the device and make sure the device is powered off before removing the battery.

  • Move the battery eject button to the right. The battery will be ejected.

  • Grab the battery and remove it from the device.

              Hard Drive
  • Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the two 16 mm screws on the access panel.

  • Remove the access panel by lifting it up.

  • Using the Phillips #000 screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the hard drive in place.
  • The pictures in this step do not contain a a hard drive. The location where the hard drive would be located is indicated by the orange rectangle.

  • Pull out hard drive.
