Keyboard
- Turn the laptop over. Using the Phillips Head 000 bit, remove the four 4.8mm screws from the bottom edge. Use the same bit to then remove the remaining six 9.5mm screws.

- Using the iFixit Opening Tool, pry the keyboard off.

Battery
- Remove the keyboard from the laptop.
- Be careful of any ribbon cables attached to the keyboard so you don’t rip those out.

- Using the Phillips #000, remove the four 9.5mm screws around the battery.

- Carefully disconnect the battery’s 8-pin connection to the motherboard.

- Remove the battery from the laptop.
