Introduction

A Wi-Fi card acts as a gateway between the computer and your wireless network, allowing it to exchange data with other Wi-Fi devices.

Slow ping times and network disconnects may be the result of a faulty Wi-Fi card. Try resetting it and downloading drivers before installing a new one.

Before beginning, make sure to power off your computer. Disconnect it from any external power source. Remove dust build-up with a dust blower.
