Tablet doesn’t show any signs of responding or powering on.
Plug in the power cable that came with the tablet. If the tablet responds, it means the battery was depleted and needed a charge.
If plugging the charging cable in did nothing, try another cable of the same type, voltage, and amperage. If the tablet responds the charging cable needs to be replaced.
The power button may have broken due to use. To replace this part follow This Guide.
If the cord is not the issue, the battery may be dead and need to be replace. To replace the battery use This Guide.
Touchscreen will NOT respond to most touches, or will indicate a touch was made when none occurred.
Clean the screen with a light cloth, microfiber if you have it. This will remove any oils or other obstructions on the screen.
If the problem persists after cleaning, the touch diffuser may be faulty.
There is no video showing on the tablet, or the video is distorted in some manner.
If the problems persist, the LCD Screen may be faulty.
An SD Card is inserted into slot, but the card isn’t detected and/or read properly.
The problem may lie in the SD Card. Try to have another card read via the tablet or try reading the card through another device to ensure that the tablet is not at fault.
If changing the card did not solve the problem, the reading slot itself may be the problem. To replace this part follow This Guide.
When attempting to take photos the camera will not capture the picture, or no picture feed appears when using the camera.
Try cleaning the camera lens to be sure that there is no obstruction hindering photo capture.
The camera is non-functional and therefore needs to be replaced. To do this follow Front Camera Guide/Rear Camera Guide.
The volume is considerably lower or does not play back whatsoever.
Check settings to confirm that volume is at preferred setting.
Sometimes volume can be considerably softer in power saver mode.
First, check your headphone set to be sure that is not the issue.
Test speakers on different applications (i.e. music player, phone call) and if the problem is consistent, reset the phone. If the speakers are indeed faulty, you may need to replace them using This Guide.
The Microphone does not pick up sound at all, or sound captured is perceived as lower than intended.
Make sure that the playback volume is at an adequate level to be sure the audio is playing correctly.
Try playing the audio file on another device. If the file plays and audio plays properly this may mean the speakers on your MeMO Pad may be faulty.
The Microphone itself may be faulty and need replacing.
