The Player will not load up or will bring up an error message.
The hard drive may have malfunctioned and may need to be replaced.
You are unable to communicate with the nexus player with the remote.
The remote may be out of the range of connectivity. Make sure you are close enough to the device.
Make sure the remote has batteries with charge.
The remote may not be synced to the device. To do this press the back button and the home button on the same time for five seconds.
Nothing happens when the power button is pressed.
Check to see if the cord is fully plugged in. If it is fully plugged in and the Nexus Player is still not powering on, then the cord is faulty. Consider buying a replacement cord.
The Nexus Player is on but nothing is showing on the screen and/or no sound is heard.
Check to make sure the the HDMI cord is fully connected to the device. If the cord is fully connected and there is still no sound and/or video, then the cord itself may be faulty. Try using a replacement cord.
Apps consistently crash or player is unresponsive.
First reboot the device, and after it has rebooted check for system and app updates. If still unresponsive or crashing occurs then force stop, clear app cache and data or uninstall and reinstall the app.
The device is not able to connect through WiFi or Bluetooth.
If you are unable to connect to WiFi check the network settings and make sure they are all correct. If they are all correct and it still will not connect try resetting the network settings.
If your device is not connecting through Bluetooth, check to make sure Bluetooth is enabled. If it is still not connecting try going through the general troubleshooting steps.
