- Remove the ten 10mm Phillips #0 screws.

- Use the iFixit opening tool to pry off the back cover of the laptop.

- Remove the four screws from the hard drive bracket.
- Remove the five 4 mm Phillips screws.

- Pull on this black connector piece to remove it from the hard drive.

Step 5
- Remove these two 4 mm Phillips screws holding the hard drive to the bracket. Repeat on the other side of the bracket.
- Pull the HD from its housing.
Remove these two 4 mm Phillips screws holding the hard drive to the bracket. Repeat on the other side of the bracket.
Pull the HD from its housing.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
