What you need

              Headphone Jack               
  • Make sure power is off.
  • Insert plastic opening tool on the side of the tablet.
  • You can use a thin screwdriver if you don’t have an opening tool.
  • Gently pull upwards and carefully pry open the Transformer pad.

  • Slide the tool along all four edges and continue to pull the tool upwards.

  • Remove the back cover once it is detached and set it aside.
  • Rotate tablet to match picture to make the guide easier to follow

  • Remove the tape and unplug wire that attaches to both speakers from soundboard.

  • Use the +J000 screwdriver to unscrew and remove the M2 plastic holder.

  • Remove black tape from ribbon cable and separate the cable from the soundboard.

  • Use the +J000 to remove three screws from soundboard.
  • Keep the screws together and organized. (Label, if necessary).

  • Remove soundboard which has the headphone jack attached to it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
