- Separate the tablet from the base by pressing the large silver button below the tablet. The silver button is located at the base of the tablet.

- Insert the opening tool into the seam of the tablet casing and gently pry upwards.
- With a little force, you will feel the clips release.

- Slide the tool along all four edges of the tablet, making sure that all the clips are released.
- Do not break these clips; otherwise, the screen will become less secure.

- Remove the rear casing.

This is completely wrong. The outside case of the ASUS T100 is brushed metal.

Was able to remove the back cover. Needed to unplug the battery and plug it back in so the the Notebook would boot. It now boots perfectly but
when we replace the back cover it snaps in at the sides and bottom but
WILL NOT Snap in on the top (where the power switch is). All tabs on the back cover and the frame are perfect and not broken but the back cover will not snap closed completely at the top. It still powers on but the power switch sticks and have to press near the switch so it releases in the back cover cavity at the top. Anyone have any ideas on this issue. Thanks

I had the same problem. Answer is not to start assemble from the top. Instead, start from the side where there is the SD slot or from the bottom end. Then everything will go. Good luck.

Take out your Micro Sd card first!! You will snap it in two!
