- Disconnect laptop from the power supply.

- Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the ten 6.4 mm screws from the bottom cover.

- Use a metal or nylon spudger to pry open the back cover on all sides.
- Remove the back cover to access the inside where the hard disk drive is located.

Step 4
- Locate the hard-drive.
- Disconnect the hard disk drive from its connectors, and remove the drive.
- Place the new HDD in the same location and orientation.

Place the new HDD in the same location and orientation.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
