What you need

Step 1

              Wi - Fi Card
  • Flip the laptop upside down so that the back of the laptop faces you.

  • Remove the following ten Phillips #0 screws from the bottom of the laptop:
  • Six 13mm screws.
  • Four 11mm screws.

Remove the following ten Phillips #0 screws from the bottom of the laptop:

Four 11mm screws.

Step 3

  • Using a plastic opening tool, pry up the palm rest from the bottom half of the laptop.
  • Ribbon cables still connect both halves so don’t remove completely.

Step 4

  • Use a spudger to flip up the retaining flap on the keyboard ribbon cable ZIF sockets.
  • Pull the ribbon cables out of their sockets.

Step 5

  • Remove the 6mm Phillips #0 screw from the Wi-Fi card.

  • Pull the Wi-Fi card out of the motherboard.

Step 7

  • Disconnect the antenna cable from the Wi-Fi chip.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
