Introduction
These steps will help you replace your fan and prevent your laptop from overheating.
What you need

Back Case Housing
- Remove all ten 6mm Phillips #1 screws from the bottom of the computer chassis.

- Carefully pry open the back cover from the laptop and place it to the side.

Fan
- Remove three 5mm Phillips #1 screws that are holding the fan in place.

- Carefully unplug the fan cable from the motherboard using a spudger or plastic opening tool.

- Carefully use your hands to remove the fan by pulling it from the heatsink housing.
- Do not use excessive force; there is a potential to break the plastic.
