Touchpad
- In order to remove the back lid, you must lay the laptop down with the lid closed and remove the screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
- There are five 80mm screws.
- There are four 50mm screws.
- Pull the back lid off of the laptop using your fingers.

- There should be a total of twelve 50mm screws when removing the battery.
- The battery does not have to be fully removed for this step, however the screws must be taken out and the battery lifted.

Step 3
- Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the six screws attached to the silver panel.
- Disconnect the LED ribbon wires using a spudger to lift the clamp.

Step 4
- Using the Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the four screws on the silver panel.
- Using a spudger, gently lift the silver ground strips off of the touch pad.
- Pull the touch pad up and towards the battery to remove it from the laptop.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
