              Touch Pad               

• Turn the device over so the back plate is facing up.

• Use a Philips Head PH1 screwdriver to remove 10 screws (3 10mm screws and 7 5mm screws) around the perimeter of the back plate.

• Remove the back plate by lifting it straight up.

• Remove 9 5mm screws around the edge of the battery

• Lift up the battery to reveal the battery terminal.

• Unclip the battery terminal by prying straight up on the sides of the connector to release the clips.

• Remove the silver tape at the edge of the touch pad.

• Disconnect the white ribbon labeled “TP” by pulling gently.

• Remove 2 5mm screws from the hard drive casing.

• Slide the touch pad out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
