- Using the Phillips 1 screwdriver, remove the laptop’s back panel.
- The parts you see underneath that panel are called the laptop’s “internals”.

- The fan will be visible toward the bottom of the internals. It is semicircular with a small wire connected to the top of it.
- Visually inspect the fan for any debris or blockage. If there is none, the fan probably needs to be replaced. To do that, we need to first disconnect the fan from the computer.

- Disconnect the fan by gently pulling the connectors on the wire apart from each other.

- Now, use the Phillips 1 screwdriver to unfasten the two screws holding the fan in place.

- From here, the fan will lift easily out of the laptop.
