What you need

Step 1

              Motherboard               

• Using the Phillips 1 screwdriver, remove the laptop’s back panel.
• Pry open the Keyboard/Touch pad.
• Use a plastic or metal spudger to separate the keyboard from the back panel and lift the keyboard out of place.

• Detach keyboard and touch screen cables
• These are the cable that are holding the keyboard and touch screen together

• Remove the following four screws: Four 4 mm Phillips #0 using a phillips screwdriver.
• Slide out the hard drive

• Slide out the hard drive

• Detach speaker

• Remove motherboard screws
• These would be located on the green panel which is the motherboard

• Carefully remove motherboard
