              Speaker               
  • Remove the 9 1.2mm phillips head screws off the back of the computer by using a small phillips head screw driver.
  • Start by disconnecting the battery cable/ribbon.

Step 2

  • Use a plastic opening tool to open the components of the laptop. In order to do this, insert the plastic opening tool in between the two covers then pry open.

  • Once the back is off the device, locate the speakers. Remove the 7 1.2mm phillips head screws holding battery in place. Use a small phillips head screw driver.
  • Disconnect the battery ribbon and remove the battery.

Disconnect the battery ribbon and remove the battery.

Step 4

  • Use a long plastic pry tool to remove the speaker from the computer. Note: There is strong adhesive holding the speaker down.

Step 5

  • Lift current speaker up and follow the wire to the remaining speaker.
  • Repeat previous step to remove second speaker from adhesive.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
