- Open the laptop with the keyboard facing upward.

- Carefully pry up the keyboard cover with your fingers or with a plastic spudger.

- Remove electrical ribbons by gently lifting up the tab that is holding them down, then pulling them gently.

- Set the keyboard plate aside. Gently lift up battery to remove it.

Steps 5 and 6 are missing photos so the instruction is not clear.

This was a easy and strait forward repair it took longer to find the tools than to do the repair. The hardest part for me was plugging the flex cables back in as I have a tremor in my hands. the repair took about 10 minutes.
