The phone does not connect to the WiFi or drops the connection unexpectedly.
Check the WiFi router to verify that it is working properly. Try connecting another device. If the WiFi is not working properly, contact your provider.
Got to Settings -> WiFi and verify that WiFi is turned on. You may need to go tap on the advanced settings and select “Keep WiFi on during sleep.”
Go to Settings -> WiFi. Turn the WiFi off and then back on.
Go to Settings -> WiFi and find the desired network. Tap and hold on the network and tap “Forget network.” Now reconnect to the network.
Reboot your phone. To do so, hold the power button and press “Restart.”
To update the firmware, go to Settings -> About -> System update and tap “Check update.”
If nothing else works, you may have to perform a factory reset.

Go to Settings -> Backup & reset -> Factory data reset and tap “Reset phone.”
Phone does not connect to carrier service
Contact your mobile provider to ensure that they are providing service to your SIM card.
Turn your phone off and remove the SIM card. To remove the SIM card, open the compartment on the left side of the device and take it out. Return the SIM card and turn your phone back on. Turn on Airplane mode, wait 3 seconds, and turn Airplane mode back off. Wait for data reconnection.
After taking a picture, the shutter sound continues to play
To manually close the camera application, tap the multiview button on the bottom right of the screen and slide the camera off the screen.
Launch the camera app, go to the gear icon in the upper-left corner, and disable “Camera Sound.”
The phone does not save pictures to a microSD card
Open the compartment on the side of the device and remove the microSD card. Check the orientation and put it back in.
Make sure that the camera settings are saving images to the card. This can be done by pressing the gear icon in the camera app, selecting “Save to”, and then selecting your microSD card.
If the card still does not register, save all data on your phone and perform a factory reset of your device.
If none of these solutions work, your microSD card may be incompatible with your device, and you will need to buy another one.
The phone does not recognize when a sim card is put in the phone
Open the compartment on the left side of the device. Remove the SIM card and re-insert it.
Remove the SIM card (see above). Clean the SIM card with an electronics cleaner, preferably something higher in alcohol content so no residue will get in the way.
The SIM card’s pins might also be bent. Try gently lifting them up with a toothpick or a small tool, as they are very fragile. Only do this if the above does not work.
Ensure that all bills have been paid and check with your wireless carrier.
