  • Use the plastic opening tool or black spudger tool to lift the back panel off the tablet.

              Battery               
  • Use the set of plastic opening tools to separate the inner backing from the electronics.
  • Unscrew the small size screws, with 3.75-3.85 mm approximately, holding the inner backing of Azpen A740 Tablet. Use the pentalobe screwdriver and plastic opening tool to pry open the inner backing.

  • Disconnect the black, red, and grey wires leading to the battery from the motherboard using desoldering tools.
  • In order to desolder these connections follow the instructions on Ifixit’s How to Solder and Desolder Connections

  • Remove the black tape that is holding the battery in place.

  • Remove the battery from the thermal paste that is under it by using the blue prying or black spuddger tool.
  • Put in the replacement battery and reassemble by doing in reverse order.
  • As you remove the battery it may be difficult to remove and it may bend. Do not worry this is common with the removal of tablet batteries.
