In many situations, the earpads of Beat solo 3 would be broken and smelly after a long time because people often wear them during sports. When people know how to replace the earpads, they can save money and have a better user experience.

What you need

  • Peel away the earpads from the headphone earcups.
  • Be gentle when separating the earpads from the main body. Too much force may damage the main body.

  • Remove the black tape with your hands.
  • Be sure to clean the black tape thoroughly, as uncleaned tape can hinder the adhesive of the new pads.

Step 4

  • Spread a thin layer of glue around the grey perimeter of the new earpads.
  • Don’t put too much glue on or it will spill out and make the earpads dirty.

  • Install the new pads.
  • Be sure to position the earpads properly on the earcups before adhering.
  • The pads may take a minute to stay together, be patient.
