Basket release button not working
The grease and food crumbs could prevent the button to be pressed down all the way. To remove the grease and food crumbs, unplug and cool down the fryer then to clean around button, follow this guide.
When pressing the release button, the hook no longer detaches from the drawer. To fix this, replace the handle by following this guide.
The clear basket lock is moving without being pushed forward, Thus the release button could be accidentally pushed. To fix it, replace the clear lock by following this guide. If the clear lock is stuck, clean the slots the clear lock sits in and the lock by following this guide.
The drawer release button gets stuck or loose
To remove the crumbs, unplug and make sure the fryer is cooled down . To clean, pull out the drawer and follow this guide.
The heating plate slots that hold the drawer can have dents or have crumbs, which can prevent the drawer to go all the way into the fryer. To clean, unplug and make sure the fryer is cooled down. The metal stoppers to prevent the drawers to pop out during cooking could be stuck or not functional because the spring is too old or lost its elasticity. To replace the spring, unplug and make sure the fryer is cooled down then follow this repair guide.
Fan is making loud noises while cooking the food
To reach the fan, unplug and make sure the fryer is cooled down. You need to take the coil off by removing the screws as directed in this guide. Then clean the fan by following this guide.
To replace the fan, make sure the device is unplugged and cooled down. Then unscrew the heating coil and remove the fan by following this guide.
The fryer does not set the temperature or the timer to the right setting
When adjusting the temperature or timer knob, the fryer does not respond to the change as well or not at all. to fix, unplug the device and wait for it to cool down. to clean knob, follow this guide.
