What you need

              Remove the screws holding the base

              Remove the screws holding the back cover of the screen               
  • Remove the screws holding the back cover of the screen.

Step 4

              Remove the back cover               
  • Start by prying out the back cover using a screwdriver in the holes at the bottom.
  • Continue along the bottom edge
  • Then follow by the side edges all the way to the top

Step 5

              Disconnect control panel and remove VGA connector screws               
  • The VGA connector screws shouldn’t be too hard to unscrew, if you don’t have the appropriate 5 mm wrench, you can use a set of pliers.

Step 6

              Slide back the logic board cover               
  • Just slide it down. No need to remove the tinfoil sticker.

Step 7

              Proceed as you wish with the logic board               
  • If the screen is not working, you may want to look for and replace any blown capacitors.
  • In my case, the two 1000 uF, 16 V electrolytes at the top right were faulty.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
