Clamshell (Black Outer Casing)
- Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the six 20 mm screws in the black plastic casing (clamshell).

Step 2
- Using your hands, remove the blower tube and clamshell.
- To remove the clamshell, pull apart starting from the bottom until it is pulled out from the notches. Then slide it out away from the device.

Power Cord
- Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the ten 20 mm screws in the orange casing.
- Use your hands to lift off the side of the orange casing with the screws facing you.

Step 4
- Locate the switch.
- Remove the 2 black and white wires with blue casings from the switch.
- Using your hands, push in the sides of the switch and slide out the wires.

Step 5
- Remove the two 20 mm Phillips #2 screws that are holding in the power cord (located at the bottom of the leaf hog).

Step 6
- Slide the power cord support off the power cord in the direction of the leads.
- Use your hands to pull the power cord out of the device with the lead end coming out last.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
