What you need

Step 1

              Clamshell (Black Outer Casing)               
  • Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the six 20 mm screws in the black plastic casing (clamshell).

Step 2

  • Using your hands, remove the blower tube and clamshell.
  • To remove the clamshell, pull apart starting from the bottom until it is pulled out from the notches. Then slide it out away from the device.

Step 3

              Power Cord               
  • Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the ten 20 mm screws in the orange casing.
  • Use your hands to lift off the side of the orange casing with the screws facing you.

Step 4

  • Locate the switch.
  • Remove the 2 black and white wires with blue casings from the switch.
  • Using your hands, push in the sides of the switch and slide out the wires.

Using your hands, push in the sides of the switch and slide out the wires.

Step 5

  • Remove the two 20 mm Phillips #2 screws that are holding in the power cord (located at the bottom of the leaf hog).

Step 6

  • Slide the power cord support off the power cord in the direction of the leads.
  • Use your hands to pull the power cord out of the device with the lead end coming out last.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
