Introduction

When the hedge trimmer is used extensively or in a wrong way, the blade can become blunt which makes the product useless. Replacing the blade without care can be dangerous, especially when handling sharp blades. This guide could also be used on how to remove the blade in case of maintenance.

What you need

Step 1

              Blade
  • Remove the five 1.4mm Philips #2 screws from the bottom using the Philips screwdriver
  • Remove the metal cover strip and the blade from the machine
  • When you remove the blade, the gears beneath can fall out. Take care not to loose any of the gears. If the gears do fall out, they can be put back easily again (see image 3).
