What you need

Step 1

              Remove top cover               
  • Carefully remove the top plastic cover. It is hold in place by adhesive.

              Remove upper frame               
  • Remove the two Philipps #0 screws that hold in place the top of the phone frame and slide it off.

Step 3

              Replace speaker               
  • Now the speaker just slides out.

Now the speaker just slides out.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Trickiest part was removing the top piece. I used a razor blade to lift the edge, then a guitar pick to finish pulling it up. Thanks for the instructions.

Be careful with the razor blade or it will slice the top of the flex which you can see folded over the top of the frame. This is not what you will really want to do as you will now be replacing the flex too.
