The phone will not turn on when you press the power button.
If you charge the phone and see the orange/green indicator on, then the problem may lie in the battery.
If the battery indicator is working, then the display may not be functioning. If the sounds for the phone were on prior to the phone not turning on, then try calling the device. If the phone rings, then the screen is malfunctioning.
See the link to replace the screen.
If the two solutions above are unsuccessful, then you have a defective motherboard. Click here to see our guide on how to replace the motherboard.
The screen for the phone is broken/cracked.
First, take a deep breath and check if your phone is still functional. Unfortunately, the PS LCD capacitive touchscreen is fused together so you will have to replace the entire screen as one piece. These parts can be found at bluphoneparts.
It is possible that the chip inside the phone, called the motherboard, could be acting strangely causing the LCD screen to lag. You should first perform a hard reset on the phone and then check if the phone is working properly. Otherwise, it may be a malfunction in the motherboard.
Pictures come out blurry and out of focus.
Clean off the camera lens with a cloth.
If the phone was in a humid environment, then it could have caused the inside of the camera lens to fog up. Place the phone in a bowl of rice for a day to dry the lens out.
If the steps above do not work, the camera module is malfunctioning and will need to be replaced.
The sound quality is fuzzy or you can’t hear anything at all.
The wiring to the speaker is either not connected or loosely connected.
The speaker itself may be damaged and require replacement.
If none of the above solutions work, then the problem most likely lies in the motherboard. Follow this guide to determine how to repair the motherboard.
The phone will not connect to Wi-Fi.
Before trying to troubleshoot your BLU Energy X Plus problems, try resetting the phone by turning it off and back on.
If restarting your phone does not work, verify that the Wi-Fi you are trying to connect to is working.
If restarting your phone does not work, and you have checked to make sure the Wi-Fi you are trying to connect to is functioning, the component in the phone that deals with connectivity is the motherboard and it will need to be replaced.
