What you need

Step 1

              Remove back cover.               

• Remove the back cover on the phone with the plastic opening tool.

              Remove battery               

• Remove battery with plastic opening tool.

Step 3

              Remove screws               

• On the bottom part of the back of the phone with a Phillips screwdriver #00 tool remove the 6 screws that hold the speaker in place.

Step 4

              Remove speaker plastic backing               

• After removing screws gently pull off the speaker from the back of the phone.

Step 5

              Remove speaker.               

• Remove the speaker from the backing of the speaker holder.

Remove the speaker from the backing of the speaker holder.

Step 6

              Replace speaker.               

• Replace the old speaker with a new speaker. Put it back in where the old speaker was.

Step 7

              Put the screws back on               

• Insert the plastic backing of the speaker back in the phone.
• Put the six screws back in the backing of the phone to hold the plastic backing securely.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
