Step 2

              Undressing the handle
  • Unclip the top of the handle from the back (clips circled in the photos).
  • Unclip the top of the handle from the front (clips circled in the photo). Be careful not to break (like us) the steam nozzle!
  • Pull out the steam control knobs.
  • Carefully “tear” the temperature adjustment knob.

Step 3

              Stripping of the sole

Step 4

              Breakdowns
  • Two different failures already observed:
  • Spacer (circled) which had come out of its housing following a fall of the iron!
  • Small foreign body that got stuck between the two contacts (circled).
  • Be careful not to turn the temperature adjustment screw (arrow) located in the control rod. Its readjustment is quite tedious, by mistake and trials!

Two different failures already observed:

Spacer (circled) which had come out of its housing following a fall of the iron!

Small foreign body that got stuck between the two contacts (circled).

Be careful not to turn the temperature adjustment screw (arrow) located in the control rod. Its readjustment is quite tedious, by mistake and trials!

Putting each screw back in its place is no problem.
