Today, there are many different ways to bookmark Computer Hope or make our page your start page. Today, the easiest method of bookmarking any page is to press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+D. We’ve also kept the following bookmark steps and making our page the start page steps for older browsers below.

To make the Computer Hope your default homepage, follow the steps below.

  • Internet Explorer 3.0 for Windows users.

  • Internet Explorer 3.0 for Macintosh users.

  • Internet Explorer 4.0 and above for Windows users.

  • Internet Explorer 4.0 and above for Macintosh users.

  • Netscape Communicator users.

  • Netscape Navigator 3.0 users.

  • Opera users.

  • Mozilla Firefox users.

  • In the View menu, click Options and choose the Navigation tab.

  • In the Page text box, choose Start Page.

  • In the Address text box, type https://www.computerhope.com

  • Click OK.

  • Now click the Home button in the toolbar.

  • On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
  • In the list on the left of the dialog box, click the Home/Search button (under Web Browser).
  • In the Address text box, type https://www.computerhope.com
  • Click OK.
  • Now click the Home button in the button bar.

Internet Explorer 4.0 and above Windows users

  • On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
  • In the list on the left of the dialog box, click the Home/Search button (under Web Browser).
  • In the Address text box, type https://www.computerhope.com/
  • Click OK.
  • Now click the Home button in the button bar.

Netscape communicator users

  • In the Edit menu, click Preferences.
  • Click the Navigator Starts with Home Page button in the upper box.
  • In the Location: text box in the middle of the window, type https://www.computerhope.com/
  • Click OK.
  • Now click the Home button in the toolbar.

To bookmark Computer Hope, press Ctrl+D or click Bookmarks and then Bookmark This Page from the page you want to bookmark.

Netscape navigator 3.0 users

  • In the Options menu, click General Preferences.
  • Click the Appearance tab.
  • In the Startup section, select Home Page Location.
  • In the text box immediately below Home Page Location, type https://www.computerhope.com/
  • Click OK.
  • Now click the Home button in the toolbar.

Opera users

To bookmark Computer Hope, click Bookmarks and then Add page here.. or Bookmark page…

Mozilla Firefox users
