- Open the charger (remove 4 Philips screws)

- Localize resistor R3

Remove circuit board from case
- Detach the circuit board from the housing (4 plastic tabs)
- Caution: Capacitor (150uF/400V) may still be charged!!!

Obtain new resistor
- Obtain new 220k Ohm 2W resistor

Desolder R3
- Resistor R3 needs to be desoldered

Replace resistor R3
- Solder resistor R3 in place

Follow the steps in reverse order to reassemble the device
