Introduction
The glass container is under vacuum and can implode. Therefore, wear gloves and safety goggles when handling !
What you need
Step 1
Remove the bottom
- Turn the jug upside down
- The black base is screwed into the housing. Unscrew to the left.
- Reach into the jug while wearing a glove
- Turn the jug upside down and carefully remove the glass body and place it with the opening on a soft surface. The fused nozzle used for pumping can break off easily.
- The glass body is available as a spare part (part 00441154, approx. 22 EUR incl. seal)

- The seal is loosely inserted in the housing. It is usually the cause for to leak out of the thermos housing.
- The seal is available as a spare part (00426033, approx. 5 EUR).
- For further disassembly loosen the 3 Torx T10 screws (plastic thread ca 3.2 x 15)
- Press on the black plastic point and pull apart the upper and lower part

Reassembly
- Thoroughly clean or replace the gasket before reassembly.
- Use a piece of foam between the base and the glass container to apply a little more pressure to the seal, without damaging the glass container
