When you press the trigger the drill doesn’t work.
The Bosch PS21 Cordless drill comes with 2 12.0 Volt 2.0 Ah battery packs. If one battery pack is not charged, try the other. Try charging one of the batteries in the included charging base for 1 hour. If the drill is still not working properly, recharge the other battery for 1 hour and try it out.
If the batteries are not charging, they may be faulty. Lithium-Ion batteries are very powerful and contain hazardous chemicals. If the batteries are faulty, they must be replaced. Replace the battery using this guide.
If the trigger is not working after the previous steps, the trigger must be faulty and might need to be replaced. Replace the trigger using this guide.
The adjustable clutch doesn’t rotate or is stuck.
If the clutch is not working, the gearbox will need to be replaced. Replace the gearbox using this guide.
The batteries will not charge.
If the battery is replaced and the drill is still not working, the charger must not be working. If the charger is faulty, it must be replaced.
The drill bit is not spinning fast enough or is not spinning at all.
If the motor is not working after the previous steps, the motor must be faulty and might need to be replaced. Replace the motor using this guide.
