- Remove the thumb screw drain from the bottom of the compressor using a Smart Wrench.
- The thumb screw may not easily be removed due to corrosion.

Step 2
Apply Teflon Tape
- Apply teflon tape to the replacement thumb screw drain.
- The teflon tape should be wound tightly around the entire threaded portion of the thumb screw drain.
- When you reassemble the thumb screw drain on the compressor, make sure to fully tighten it using a Smart Wrench.
